End User Licence Agreement

1. This is a licence, not a sale

This End User Licence Agreement ("EULA") is between you and B8R Labs, HN 206, Ward - 24, Dabra - 475110, India. It governs your use of the B8R Legal application, on any platform you obtain it from — Apple's App Store, Google Play, a direct download, or the web app.

The App is licensed to you, not sold. B8R Labs retains ownership of the software itself, as described in the Copyright & IP Notice. This EULA applies alongside our Terms of Service; where the two differ on a question of software licensing, this EULA governs.

2. What you may do

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own legal practice, for as long as your account is in good standing and you comply with this EULA.

Where you obtained the App from Apple's App Store, this licence is further limited by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions, including their terms on use across devices in your Family Sharing group.

3. What you may not do

• Copy, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, lend, or sell the App;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, except to the extent the law expressly permits despite this restriction;
• Modify the App, or create derivative or competing works from it;
• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice;
• Use the App in breach of the Acceptable Use Policy;
• Use the App outside India, or where doing so would breach applicable law or export controls.

4. Your data is not covered by this licence

This EULA licenses the software to you. It gives us no rights over the case, client, or financial information you enter — that remains yours, on the terms set out in the IP Notice and the Privacy Policy.

5. Updates

We may release updates, and this EULA covers them too unless an update comes with its own terms. Some updates are needed for the App to keep working with our servers, so an installation that is never updated may eventually stop functioning.

6. No warranty; limits on liability

The App is licensed "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. B8R Labs does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.

Our liability is limited as set out in Section 14 of the Terms of Service. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

7. Termination

This licence ends automatically if you breach it, and ends when you delete your account or we terminate it under the Terms of Service. On termination you must stop using the App and remove it from your devices. Your refund rights on closure are in the Refund Policy.

8. Terms that apply to the Apple App Store

These provisions apply only if you obtained the App from Apple's App Store, and are included because Apple requires them:

• This EULA is between you and B8R Labs only, not with Apple. B8R Labs, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
• Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. All support requests go to support@b8r.in.
• If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform are B8R Labs' responsibility.
• B8R Labs, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet a legal requirement, and claims under consumer protection or privacy law.
• B8R Labs, not Apple, is responsible for investigating and resolving any third-party claim that the App infringes that party's intellectual property rights.
• You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as terrorist-supporting, and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and upon your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce it against you.

9. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of India, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Dabra and Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. Questions: support@b8r.in.
