The B8R Legal application — its software, source code, database design, screen layouts, interface, text, graphics and logo — is owned by B8R Labs and protected as an original work under the Copyright Act, 1957. Copyright arises automatically on creation; registration is not required for it to exist or to be enforced.

"B8R", "B8R Labs" and "B8R Legal", together with the app icon and logo, are trade marks used by B8R Labs. They are unregistered trade marks, claimed on the basis of use, and are marked ™ rather than ®.
You may not use them as your own, or in a way that suggests we endorse or are associated with your services, without our written permission. Referring to the App by name — in an article, a review, or a list of tools you use — is fine and needs no permission.
You keep all rights in the information you enter — your cases, clients, notes, fees and financial records. We claim no ownership of it.
You grant us only the narrow permission we need to run the service for you: to store, copy, back up, transmit and display your content, and to make it visible to the people you have granted access to. That permission exists for no other purpose, ends when you delete your account, and does not let us use your content for our own purposes, show it to anyone else, or train any model on it.

We acknowledge within 48 hours and will remove or disable anything found to be infringing. The same route applies to content another user has entered.
